You’re in control. Play starts voice; the short tone means it’s ready. Mic mute stops capture but keeps playback, work and the billable call connected. Pause ends the call.

Playing here moves the conversation from another device or tab. Background work survives handoff; Pause and disconnect cancel ordinary work, not completed effects.

Switch windows freely. Changing focus or tabs does not pause voice. A real connection or audio interruption stops it; press Play to reconnect. Browsers may still suspend calls when the device sleeps or locks. Use the Android app for reliable screen-off/headset calling.

Media connects directly to GPT-Live. The server records observed audio by default. No recordings or transcripts are saved by this page. Audio follows your browser/system route; a headset is recommended.
